In the Village of Angola, the property and lives of the community and areas surrounding the Village are well-protected by the volunteers from the Village of Angola's Fire Department.
This efficient, well-trained and responsive fire department has proven over and over their dedication and time to the people they protect.

MONTHLY CHILD SAFETY SEAT CHECK...Angola Fire Hall Station#1 - 41 Commercial Street
WHEN: 3rd Tuesday of each month TIME: 6:30-8:30PM TO SCHEDULE CALL: 549-3022
(appointments are not required, but are recommended)
RULES:
- an information form is filled out by the parent/guardian for each seat to be checked
- seats will be checked for recalls, damage, prior installation in the vehicle they arrive in and proper fit for the chld using the seat.
- if said child is with the parent, the seat can be properly checked (recommended)
- if seat is out of date or a safety issue is found, the seat will be replaced with a brand new seat at NO COST to the parent, if child is present.
- if no child is present, and the seat is a safety issue, then the parent/guardian will be advised not to use the seat and will need to purchase a new one.
- THIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO EDUCATE PARENTS/GUARDIANS ON THE PROPER INSTALLATION AND USE OF CHILD SEATS, IT IS NOT DESIGNED TO HAND OUT FREE SEATS TO EVERYONE THAT ATTENDS.
