Code Regulations: Parks and Playgrounds

​Hours for all Village Parks
April 1 through September 30 : 7am - 10pm
October 1 through March 30 : 9am - 6pm

Herman Park

Herman Park on Mill Street includes:
*Large playground
*3 picnic shelters
*Basketball court
*Restroom facility available with shelter rental
*Walking path with benches around the park perimeter located along beautiful Big Sister Creek.
The shelters may be rented for $50.00 for village residents and $100 for non-residents.

Centennial Park & William G. Houston Gazebo

​The Park and Gazebo are considered the center attraction area for Village events.

It is located between Center, Park and High Streets right behind the Post Office.
The Park &  Gazebo Committee hold summer concerts every Wednesday at 7pm during July and August. 
The Gazebo and Park can be rented for your special occasion.

Frawley Park


​Frawley Park is a small playground located on the corner of South Main and York Streets.
This park is open to the public year round and contains benches and a playground area for small children.

A safe place for children to play and watch the trains go by.
